Nowadays, the details of some crimes are reported in newspapers and on TV and have had some negative effects on the community, and some people believe that such details of a crime should be restricted. I generally agree with this view.

Firstly, if some details of crimes are published in the media, it will bring a lot of unimaginable consequences. Some technical details of a case can provide useful information to potential criminals, for instance, lock picking techniques, and how to look for the right target in a robbery. In this case, TV programmes are more like crime training programmes, so sensitive information should not be shown to the public. For example, if the details of a crime scene are fully disclosed on the television or in the newspaper, the victims and their amilies may feel even more traumatised. In particular it is inappropriate for some images and information of serious crimes, such as homicide and rape cases, to be made public.

Does this mean that all information of any crime should not be made public? Clearly, the answer is no. Many factors should be taken into account when disclosing the details of a crime. The details of a case can be made public if in doing so, local residents can help the police identify the criminal and also educate them about crime. To take Intemet fraud and telephone fraud for example, many people become victims just because they do not know the tricks of the trade used by criminals. Clearly such information can help people become wise to fraudsters, and con artists, once theyve seen crime programmes on the TV.

In conclusion, I agree that if information related to a crime case can cause unnecessary panic, then this information should not be disclosed.

現如今，有些犯罪細節在報紙和電視上被公布出來，在社會上產生了不良的影響。有的人認為這種犯罪細節應該被限制公布，我基本認同這種觀點。

首先，在媒體上公布犯罪細節會帶來很多難以想象的后果。比如，一些竊賊的開鎖手法、搶劫犯如何尋找合適的目標等，這種技術性細節可能給潛在的罪犯提供有用的信息。在這種情況下電視節目就更像是一個犯罪培訓節目因此，敏感信息不應該展示在公眾面前。再比如，如果一些犯罪現場的細節在電視或者報紙上被完全公開，則受害人及其家屬可能感覺更加受傷。尤其是一些嚴重犯罪案件的相關圖片和信息，如殺人案、強奸案，是不適合公開的。

那么，犯罪信息就完全不能公開嗎?顯然，答案是否定的。犯罪細節的公開要考慮若干因素。公開后公眾可以幫忙識別罪犯或者可以受到有關的犯罪教育，那么犯罪細節就可以公開。以網絡詐騙和電信詐騙為例，很多人受騙就是因為不清楚這些罪犯的手法和套路。顯然，在電視節目上看了相關節目之后，人們就可以警惕騙子。

總而言之，我認為如果所要公布的犯罪信息會給社會帶來不必要的恐慌，那么這種信息就不應該被公開。
