二、學習上從學習的角度來描述的話可以從學科、課堂、作業等方面進行描述，比如說一些藝術類學科需要創作靈感的時候就需要用到想象力，課堂中需要小組頭腦風暴的時候同樣也需要想象力，在完成老師布置的一些空間幾何題的作業時同樣也會需要想象力。

We all use imagination in our day-to-day lives. Imagination is a wonderful thing. When we read a book or hear a story, we imagine the characters. We also imagine the situation in our minds. In happy times we imagine good things. In sad times, all negative thoughts come in our minds. Here I would like to talk about a situation when I used my imagination.

Once I took part in a painting competition in my hometown. I was in 10th class, and I represented my school in this competition, which was organized by a local NGO, the J. club. We had to use our imagination to draw and paint a picture on the theme of Drug addiction. I knew that if we take addicting drugs, our bodies become lifeless and our lives become meaningless. I used my imagination and drew two skeletonsone smoking a cigarette and the other injecting itself with a drug.

I wanted to convey the message that narcotic drugs can turn us into skeletons and our end is near. I was overjoyed when my name was called out as the first prize-winner. All my friends and teachers who were there congratulated me. Our principal announced my name in the morning assembly the next day and everyone clapped for me.

I doubt it. Children have a more active imagination than adults, and young adults are less constrained by their own prior patterns of thought. As people become good at life, they develop habits of thought that serve them well.

Science is creative in much the same way that art, music, or literature are creative, in that scientists have to use their imagination to come up with explanations. These explanations are well informed, they are not mere guesses.

# What subjects are helpful for childrens imagination?

Think about paper cutting, origami, sewing, drawing, modelling, DT, art, dance, drama. These are aspects of a creative curriculum that will engage imagination in children. With creative activities, you can also improve fine motor skills and concentration.
